A homeowner in Norwalk, CT was getting water seepage in their basement. They reached out to us at Connecticut Basement Systems to find a solution. One of our Sales Consultants, Rick Raucci, went to the home to assess the basement and propose a permanent waterproofing solution. 

One of our Foremen, Moises Chantes, and his team installed this job. They installed our WaterGuard drainage system below the floor, around the entire perimeter to collect water coming into the basement. Then our TripleSafe sump pump will take the collected water and pump it out of the home safely. They also installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier on part of the wall to lead water directly into the WaterGuard below.

Then they installed our TripleSafe sump pump to take water from the drains and pump it out of the home at a safe distance. They also installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier on the basement walls. With these systems, this basement will stay dry, giving the homeowner peace of mind. 

To stop water from flowing through the doorway of this home, our team installed the TrenchDrain grated draining system along the edge of the entranceway. TrenchDrain resembles half of a basement drainage pipe, with a grated opening fitted snugly on top. The grate is flush or slightly below the floor, eliminating any tripping hazard. After the cement finishes drying, the owners of this home can be confident that no water will leak through their doorway any more.
