This 1980's family home in Poplar, WI was having water issues in their finished basement. After learning about our work on local radio, the owners contacted DBS in search of a permanent solution. 

DBS Design Specialist Rich Johnsen is our expert in basement waterproofing and visited the home to provide a free, no-obligation estimate. After thoroughly inspecting the leaky basement, Rich designed a custom plan for a basement waterproofing system including our WaterGuard® french drain system and a new sump pump.

DBS Foreman Joe Harris and his crew installed our basement waterproofing products. First, they dug a trench around the perimeter of the basement and carried out the concrete. From there, they installed our WaterGuard® drainage system and surrounded it with gravel to encourage proper drainage. Once the drain system install was complete, they connected it to a SingleSafe™ sump pump and covered the drain with new concrete. 

This homeowner now has a proven system for keeping water out of the basement. 

When this Mound, MN homeowner reached out to us, their basement was struggling with persistent dampness, especially around the bottom of the stairs—something many homeowners can relate to. They reached out to DBS for assistance, and it was determined that the area would need to have dimple drainage matting laid, followed by the installation of CleanSpace® to line the area. CleanSpace® vapor barrier is ideal for crawl space waterproofing, and the rim joist also received spray foam insulation to finish it off.
