PowerBrace® System Installed in St. Croix Falls, WI to Stabilize Bowing Basement Walls
The owner of this home in St. Croix Falls, WI reached out to DBS looking for help with bowing basement walls.
Design Specialist Rich Johnsen went out to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, Rich recommended our PowerBrace® System.
A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed 14 PowerBrace® i-beams along the basement walls to permanently stabilize the foundation. Each i-beam is bolted to the slab of the basement and secured to the rim joists of the home. At the top of each i-beam is a bracket that can be tightened during dry months in an attempt to move the wall back to its original position.
Now that the basement walls have been permanently stabilized, the homeowner can relax with peace of mind.
