The owner of this home in Minneapolis, MN noticed several cracks throughout their home near doors, windows, and other areas of the home. The main beam in the basement was also bowing downwards (see image below). Looking for a solution to their foundation problems, they reached out to DBS.

A DBS Design Specialist went to the home to conduct a free no-obligation estimate for the homeowner. After the inspection, they generated a free quote for our SmartJack®  System to solve the foundation issues.

A DBS Foreman led the installation of this project with assistance from a crew. Together they installed 3 SmartJack® supports in the basement in order to level the flooring above.

When the new owners of this Fridley, MN home noticed a significant crack in their garage floor and foundation, it raised concerns about the structural integrity of the house. After a call with our Appointment Center, a free, no-obligation inspection was set up with our Design Specialist Jake. Our production team, led by Foreman Cobi, stepped in and applied our GeoLock© Wall Anchor solution, addressing the root cause. This homeowner in Saint Louis Park, MN reached out to DBS for help stabilizing the failing foundation wall in their garage. Built in 1995, the block foundation began shifting, prompting the concrete slab to crack as well. Wanting to avoid further damage to protect the integrity of the home for years to come, they contacted DBS.

Our Design Specialist James Miller visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate for the homeowner's project. It was determined that both foundation repair and concrete support systems were needed to provide a permanent solution going forward.

DBS Foreman Jose Valenzuela and crew excavated the exterior of the home in order to perform a lift procedure. Our team installed 7 push piers total at the base of the home on the exterior of the home. These galvanized steel piers were then hydraulicaly driven into the ground to weight-bearing soils. The weight of the home was then transferred to the competent soil.

After this was completed, our concrete repair team came in to fill gaps and voids beneath the garage slab with PolyLevel®. Once the slab was lifted and leveled, our team installed NexusPro™ to seal and protect the cracks in the concrete. 

The homeowners can now rest easy knowing their home's garage is protected from further foundation damage.

This Golden Valley, MN home had a walkout basement that was also connected to their garage. This family had been monitoring a foundation issues for a few years, and when they noticed the issue getting worse, they contacted DBS in search of a solution.

A DBS Foreman and crew installed 3 GeoLock™ Wall Plates and Earth Anchors to the failing foundation wall. This system uses the heavy-duty anchors in and connects them to plates on the wall interior wall. Connected with long, galvanized rods, these anchors are tightened to straighten the wall over time and provide maximum support. Our team also added 4 Push Piers inside the garage to immediately lift the sinking structure.

The customer was happy with the work done and now has a permanent solution they can count on for years to come.
