Problem
Water infiltration through the joint between the concrete slab and the foundation walls, in addition to humidity in the basement.
Solution
Waterproofing the basement by installing our WaterGuard interior French drain all along the foundation walls. Installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier on the foundation walls to block moisture from them and then installing our SuperSump sump pump system
Mrs. Amy T needed to change her sump pump, which was no longer functional since water was accumulating at the bottom of the sump in the basement. After some research on the net, she found Basement Systems Quebec and was impressed by our client’s feedback regarding our sump pump systems.
Our team of specialist has replaced her old sump pump by our company’s SuperSump which one of the top sump pump systems since it has an inside durable layer with more than 100 holes to drain the soil under the slab and keep the water table low, an airtight floor drain, a Waterwatch alarm system for extra protection from water floods, and comes with a Zoeller cast iron 1/3 hp pump which pumps up to 2,200 gallons per hour at a head of 8 feet.
Here are other unfortunate customers due to water infiltration in their basement.
Water is very damaging, not only to our client’s basement but to the entire house as well!
When our clients finally decided to solve the problem, they called us to take the opinion of one of our specialists in waterproofing.
As a result, we solved the problem by installing our waterproofing system that includes the WaterGuard interior drain, a SuperSump pump, and finished it with our products from the EverLast panels, the Floor Matting Thermal Dry and finally installed our Cleanspace membrane.
This place will never get moldy again thanks to our EverLast panels that comes with a 50 Year warranty.
As for our ThermalDry basement floor tiles, they are engineered for basement environments. Unlike ceramic basement floor tiles, ThermalDry basement flooring will never crack or shatter.
Problem:
Mr. Tella had moisture problems in his house which came from the earthen crawl space.
Solution:
Encapsulate the crawl space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. It is installed on the earthen floor of the crawl space and sealed to the wall. The moisture coming from the earthen floor is then blocked. The crawl space will therefore be drier and the rest of the house too.
In the before photo, you can see the danger inside this basement in Montreal incarnated by a big crack causing water infiltration. With walls seemingly under siege by water, the sense of urgency was palpable. Here's where we stepped in. As depicted in the vivid contrast of the after photo, we employed FlexiSpan—a hallmark of durability in our arsenal—effectively turning a damp, worrisome space into a dry, serene sanctuary. Through our dedicated intervention, the nightmare of a leaking basement was transformed into peace of mind.
