This basement in Pointes-Aux-Trembles got flooded last year, and Mrs. Sylvie was really worried about her safety and the state of her house. So she called our company asking us for waterproofing solutions to end this problem.
After offering her some quick safety advice, our team scheduled the nearest day for inspecting the place!
After the inspection, we recommended the installation of the WaterGuard interior drain system. So when the water that seeps in at the joint is captured by the holes under the drain and by the gaps that allow the water in the walls to go down the drain.
In addition, we recommended the installation of a sump pump system such as the TripleSafe sump pump system to keep her basement dry with triple the protection.
Finally, by installing a CleanSpace membrane, water vapor will stop from flowing up to the soil, and into the entire house. Hence moisture will be reduced and the place will be dry again.
Our Customer from Sherbrooke had an old pump that was not sealed and covered, which was a source of moisture that was infecting the air in her house’s basement.
We have installed our company’s SuperSump pump and a CleanSpace membrane to form a complete waterproofing system.
Our client Francine who lives in Sherbrooke wanted to fix the water infiltrations and mold problems that were occurring in her basement.
She had consulted an engineer who had recommended her to the installation a french drain and waterproof her basement walls.
We did exactly that and installed a full waterproofing system that solves all these problems while complying with the engineer's recommendations.
So we installed 42 feet of WaterGuard with an inspection port and connected it to a SuperSump and UltraSump. We then covered the affected surface with our Cleanspace vapor-barrier that redirects water towards the drain and stop water vapor from condensation.
After the installation, this basement was completely waterproofed and looked very clean and healthy.
It is always important to make sure that your sump pump is well maintained and free of mechanical problems, or else you might find yourself with a flooded basement and thousands of dollars in damages.
And this is what happened to one of our client in Mont-Saint-Gregoire, when his basement’s sump pump stopped working due to several reasons from which an overwhelmed pump!
When Hugo started looking for a replacement for his old pump, he got into our company and contacted us asking for our products and prices.
Following his approval, we replaced our client’s sump pump with our TripleSafe sump pump system that has a three-pump system to adjust automatically to meet pumping requirements and a battery-powered pump to protect the basement from flooding during power outages.
