Mrs. Gagnon in Joliette, QC, sent us a message through our website to explain that she had a water infiltration problem in her basement. We offered to come by for a free inspection by our specialist, Roxane. Upon taking a look at things, we decided that the best course of action was to install a new sump pump system. Our installer Fiston then went to the home and installed a SuperSump sump pump system, along with an UltraSump backup battery system. Our client now has better protection against water infiltration, even during unforeseen conditions like power outages.
Having a pedestal sump pump is not recommended at all! Actually, if your sump pump isn't up to par, it can end up costing you. Even a small amount of water can cause major problems. You should always choose a sump pump system with the right features.
Our company has designed sump pump systems to overcome many of these common sump pump problems. All of the systems include cast-iron Zoeller pumps that are designed to reliably handle a variety of pumping needs.
We have changed this old pedestal pump in Lavaltrie into one of our sump pumps systems, the TripleSafe. Our TripleSafe is a sump pump system engineered to function under extreme conditions that often overwhelm standard sump pumps.
The main floor in Mr. Hammer's house was no longer level and he even felt his floor "softer" in some places. One of the causes is the lack of support pillars in the crawl space. The current pillars of support were poorly spaced and inadequate.
The solution
We added galvanized steel SmartJack pillars to reinforce the beams to properly support the floor joists. These are even adjustable over time.
When a wall is cracked in multiple places, a more effective solution than sealing is waterproofing of the foundation wall.
We carried out this type of repair at a Saint-Pie customer.
We solidified the wall using carbon fiber strips to prevent the wall from moving and creating more cracks, and then we installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier membrane which blocks water and vapors and redirects them to the WaterGuard interior drainage and water drainage.
And finally we connected this membrane to the SuperSump sump pump system.
Mr. Richard had a water infiltration problem for the past few years and he was seeing mold stains in his basement. So he was planning to sell his house and wanted to fix this situation permanently.
The customer chose a complete product solution; a SuperSump pump, an IceGuard, a LawnScape a Waterguard drain system that leads the water to the pump, to then be discharged outside the house, at a safe distance.
This system helps to drain the water from below the floor in order to lower the level of humidity.
