We have waterproofed our client’s house in Levis that was suffering from water infiltration during thaw season and installed our interior drainage system’The Waterguard’.
Our interior drainage system is: easy to install, will intercept and evacuate water before it reaches the living space and is accessible at all times to for inspection and cleanings.
The importance of installing a drainage system around the inside of the basement along the wall is that it will capture water at the most common point of entry-the floor/ wall joint.
Our waterGuard system will also capture water from the walls and prevent the center of the floor from leaking by intercepting the water at the perimeter of the floor before it gets to the center.
We applied this system in our client’s basement in Levis and waterproofed the whole area.
Issue:
There are three foundation cracks visible from inside the basement of Mrs. Thibodeau's house. Moisture and water seep through these and cause dampness in the basement.
Solution:
Seal the cracks inside the basement using our patented FlexiSpan method. Our team apply two types of polyurethane sealant.
The problem: This lady from Stoneham and Tewkesbury had an overflow problem since the day that her sump pumps was installed. She often had water emerging from her pump, because it did not work properly when there was a heavy rain or when the snow melted in the spring.
Solution: Our certified specialist suggested to change her sump system, in order to install a more efficient one that would keep the floor dry. The type of pump that was chosen for this project was the TripleSafe pump. The TripleSafe is equipped with three levels of protection, the first level is a pump for normal use which can evacuate up to 8,300 liters of water per hour. Subsequently, if the flow reaches its maximum capacity, the second level will work and pump will be able to evacuate up to 14,750 liters of additional water. And if there was an electrical failure, our system is equipped with a back-up battery which, in a single charge, can evacuate 43,350 liters of water.
From now on, this client can have the peace of mind and when there is an inclement weather or when the period of snowmelt arrives, she will be able to feel safe and enjoy a dry basement.
