With the garage floor made of concrete spanning over the basement, and the property located on the Mississippi River with limited access due to a retaining wall drop-off, the challenge lies in stabilizing and lifting the rear wall of the garage.

When our Design Specialist went out of the property, he recommended the installation of push piers the stabilize and lift the rear wall of the garage. Despite challenges in access and landscaping, our crew went out to the property and successfully installed 8 push piers that were 12-50' below the foundation. Once the project was complete, the homeowner was happy with the final outcome!

One of our foremen led the installation of this project with help from a crew. Together they installed the SmartJack® System in the basement to permanently stabilize the basement foundation and floors above. Our crew also covered the pits in the second photo for a smooth finish.

This basement had become wet due to an ineffective drainage system in the home. The walls were also cracked and bowing which was allowing water to enter the home. These photos show an in-progress shot of our products being installed including our CleanSpace wall liner, drain tile, and GeoLock Earth Anchors which permanently stabilize the wall and help to straighten it over time. 

A homeowner in Hibbing, MN regarding their crawlspace foundation. It had a bowing wooden foundation, and they were worried that the issue would worsen once winter hits. DBS was able to stabilize the wall by installing GeoLock® Wall Anchors, as shown in the picture. These are steel anchors that get embedded into the undisturbed soil on the exterior part of the wall and are attached to the interior portion of the wall to help straighten it out.
