A church in Nisswa, MN was experiencing issues with uneven sidewalk slabs. The concrete had started sinking in some areas, which is a big safety conern, especially for a populated area. Luckily, DBS was able to thoroughly inspect and provide the right solution. It was concluded that the sidewalk could be lifted and leveled with the PolyLevel® foam injection. This is a polymer injection that is embedded below the surface of the concrete, which then expands and raises the slab to the desired height. With the help of DBS, this sidewalk is now a safer area for all individuals.

A Nashwauk, MN, homeowner faced a frustrating challenge when they could no longer open their garage door due to the sinking and uneven concrete outside the garage. Over time, the settling concrete had created a slope that not only made it difficult to use the garage but also posed safety risks for the homeowner. After a thorough inspection, our team determined that the best solution would involve PolyLevel® and NexusPro®.
PolyLevel® is an advanced polyurethane foam injection system that lifts and levels sunken concrete slabs, providing a durable and long-lasting result. By injecting the PolyLevel® beneath the slab, we were able to restore the garage entrance to its proper height without the mess or disruption of traditional methods. To ensure a complete, weather-resistant finish, we also used NexusPro® to fill in any cracks and joints, creating a seamless and watertight surface.
As you can see in the accompanying photo gallery, the transformation was not just structural but also aesthetic. The smooth, even surface not only restored the functionality of the garage but also brought peace of mind to the homeowner. They can now use their garage with ease, knowing the concrete will remain stable for years to come.
A cabin owner in Side Lake, MN wanted to repair the floor in their boathouse. Shifting soils and washouts have caused the lakeside concrete slab to settle over time. In search of a permanent solution, they reached out to DBS for a free, no-obligation estimate for our concrete lifting and leveling service.
DBS Design Specialist Kelly Dusek is an expert in Concrete Repair and visited the cabin to provide an inspection. After taking thorough measurements, he designed a solution that would fill the voids beneath the concrete and raise the slabs back to a level position.
DBS Concrete Repair Foreman Evan Lafontaine led a crew that completed this cabin boathouse project. They began by drilling pea-sized holes into the target areas of the concrete. From there, they used a pressurized hose to inject our 2-part solution called PolyLevel® beneath the slab. This expanding foam's lightweight formula is designed to lift concrete without adding extra weight to the soil beneath and causing more settling. The foam hardens and it cures to provide a durable, sustainable fix that won't wash away over time. The cracks were filled with NexusPro®, a flexible silicone solution.
This cabin owner was happy with the work done and is relieved to have a stable and level slab once again.
